Finance Manager

Woodbine Municipal Light and Power is seeking a Finance Manager.  This is a full-time position that oversees the financial activity and mandatory reporting requirements for the Utility. This position also supervises office personnel.  Primary duties will include the management of utility finances, administration, communications, and human resources, including payroll.  This position also serves as the Secretary to the Board of Trustees.  All candidates should uphold a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality.

Required Qualifications:

High School diploma or GED and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Human Resources or a closely related field, or equivalent combination of schooling and experience; 5+ years of business experience with increasing responsibility; 3-5 years of customer service experience; demonstrated knowledge of generally accepted accounting methods; working knowledge of governmental rules and regulations as they pertain to the electric and water utilities, or similar industries; advanced skillset in Microsoft Excel; and experience working with an ERP software system.  Preferred: Previous experience in accounting or governmental finances, and previous experience supervising personnel.
